Assistant Superintendent of Academic Services

Wade Bishop joined Ferris ISD in July 2026 as Ferris High School Assistant Principal. Prior to joining Ferris ISD, Mr. Bishop served Ennis ISD for 22 years. While in Ennis, he served in a variety of roles including Teacher/Coach, High School Assistant Principal, Junior High Principal, High School Principal, and most recently as Assistant Superintendent. His experiences both in the classroom as well as in administration has shaped his belief that successful schools are built on strong relationships, high expectations, exceptional educators, and a relentless commitment to students. 

Mr. Bishop said, "I look forward to working alongside the students, staff, families, and community of Ferris ISD as we continue building on the district's strengths and creating even greater opportunities for every student.
