New Student Enrollment

PK-12th grade students new to Ferris ISD for the 2019-20 school year will need to register at the Central Registration office at 301 E 5th St. Ferris, TX 75125 in the Ferris ISD Administration Building on the following dates from 8:00AM - 3:30PM by student's last name.

A-G Mondays: July 29th, August 5th, 12th, and 19th
H-M
Tuesdays: July 30th, August 6th, and 20th
N-R Wednesdays: July 31st, August 7th and 14th
S-Z Thursdays: August 1st, 8th and 15th


CLOSED: TUESDAY, 8/13/19 FOR DISTRICT MEETING

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2019

IMPORTANT NOTE: STUDENTS THAT REGISTER ON WEDNESDAY, 8/21/19 WILL START SCHOOL ON THURSDAY, 8/22/19.

ITEMS TO BRING:

  • Copy of the child’s birth certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Withdrawal paperwork or last report card from the previous school attended 
  • Proof of Residence:
    • Current utility bill: Electric, gas, or water bill showing name and physical address of person enrolling student (cell/phone, cable/satellite, waste bills are not accepted)
    • Builder’s contract – signed by both parties
    • Lease agreement or deed of trust (requires residence on property) – signed by both parties
  • Driver’s License of person enrolling student
  • Current immunization records
  • Proof of Income (PK ONLY)

All students must first register through the Central Registration office prior to enrolling at the campus. Once the student information is obtained, students and parents will be referred to the designated campus.
